Since 2010 James has provided bodywork in his birthplace and home of Honolulu, Hawai’i. Intrigued that massage had been utilized in his family for many generations, he explored the benefits of bodywork after a traumatic sporting injury that left him unable to walk or run properly. Stoked by recovery James returned back to competitive rugby and doing what he loved best. Since then he has retired from high impact sports, grateful to have had a second chance. Besides from putting in work during sessions, James enjoys surfing, hiking, yoga and training his puppy Shiba Inu to become his special certified therapy dog. As a proud father and happily married family man, he continues the journey of therapeutic wellness by a life balanced in faith and community.
